Malletts Creek lies mostly within the City of Ann Arbor. It drains an 11 square mile watershed that includes northern Pittsfield Township, and much smaller portions of Ann Arbor, Superior, Lodi and Scio Townships. The Huron River Watershed Council is one of the partners involved in restoring the Malletts Creek watershed. The Mallets Creek Restoration Plan was spearheaded by the Washtenaw County Drain Commissioner. Other restoration partners include the City of Ann Arbor, Pittsfield Township, the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality, the Malletts Creek Association, and the residents of the Malletts Creek basin.
